My Weight Loss Journey and The Benefits Gained from it..

My journey into weight loss and healthy living wasn’t easy—it started after a tough divorce, years of stress, and a creeping weight gain that left me unhealthy, unhappy, and uninspired.

How It Started….

After seven years of a “comfortable” married life filled with work, TV dinners, and little activity, I found myself carrying 8 inches of belly fat, 28lbs of excess body fat and feeling trapped in a sedentary routine.
Stress, poor diet, and lifestyle choices led me to a breaking point: sink or swim?

I chose to swim—for my children, for my family, and for myself.

My Fat Loss Quest

My challenge was to: lose belly fat and overall fat reduction, improve overall wellbeing

I started with a grassroots approach—cooking fresh, healthy meals and cutting out processed foods…..

  • I focused on nutrient-rich fruits and vegetables to burn fat naturally and boost energy.
  • I slowly added exercise and strength training, and the fat began to melt away—about 1lb per week, revealing a healthier, fitter body.

This transformation wasn’t just about weight loss—it was about rebuilding my life, taking control of my health and improve overall wellbeing.

Over the years, I’ve worn many hats, including semi-pro portrait and fashion photographer. Interestingly, this led me to study skin health and nutrition, helping my subjects improve their complexion naturally.

When my fiancée became pregnant, I used my experience to help her manage her Type 1 Diabetes and lower her HbA1c naturally through diet—with incredible success.

That moment inspired me to create Fat Loss Quest to:

  • Help others avoid the confusion and misinformation that dominates the weight loss industry.
  • Promote a holistic approach to health that transforms both body and mind.
